Henri Vieuxtemps(1820-1881), Belgian composer and violinist. He learned to play violin from his father, he made concert tour at age of 8 with Lecoux, and then studied in Brussels, Vienna and Paris. He appeared with London Philharmonic in 1834 and was hailed as one of the greatest violinists of his time. He taught at St. Petersburg Conservatory and Brussels Conservatory. He composed 7 violin concertos, 2 cello concertos and violin pieces.
